At the same time i am wokring on another image taken at Birmingham Museum art Gallery, the same techniques will be applied and thought processes, however, so far into this image i ahve found it harder as it is a busy image, it consists of many backround props. I may marquee the whole staircase and place it into a different interior.

Work in progress, recreating a selected area of the British Museum
This will allow me explore new software and existing softwrae knowledge that i ahve to experiment with the various tools and functions
I intend to recreate the scenery so that it almost looks abstract howevr keeping the realistic element
Work yet to prgoress ion the below image
lighting: change the colour at the moment there is alot of natural light.
Add more props: incl. figures to fill the space to give it a 'busy look'
Maybe create exhibitions using sketchup and inserting them into the image as though they are part of the exhbition.

BRAIN TEASER
"if you measured the brain activity of someone who was concentrating on a single, complex task -- like studying quantum theory -- several parts of that person's brain would light up. But if you asked them to answer a rapid-fire slew of tiny, simple problems -- like basic math questions -- her or his brain would light up everywhere.'

similar design idea with a large book wall
WEDNESDAY : two representatives of formica to visit
to create an exciting presentation, that will exite them witht he new idea and how wide formica is to be used in any form of design
consider questions to ask during the presentation?
anything that i would like to knwo about formica that i did not research into can be used as an advantage here
present the two clients with the idea and seek advice of which formica material is best suitable and reasons why?
ask how formica has been uised in previous years but in any unusual manner?
research into various diferent books
how artists use books as a source of media
different ways of presenting a book:
e.g. different planes > horizontal / vertical / falling off the edge / upside down / suspended?
Research into a familiar artist who ahs used books, how has this been presented?
how can formica be incoprated into the design?
using the layers of veneers as a design for the pages of books
experiuement with this
BOOKS BOOKS BOOKS
new fomica design competition > involves my design with a large wall filled with small books, larg books, enormous oversized books, teeniw weenie books! of all sizes on a large 11250mm shelf, coloured in different shades of reds
with downlighting to only light the books from below, books are slightly pulled our, however, the secret is the book is as a formica casing with a sensored spray tap inside
concentrating on the washroom area > place to wash hands only
to decide where the water will drain when the user uses the spray taps
decision making on where to position full length mirrors?
mirros within the pulled out books?
