i received another email feedback from a senior lecturer at dmu who is willing to have a one to one meeting with me than responding in a lengthy email. However, i must attempt to try and meet the client by monday as i am close to presenting my research findings, i will also be able to be in contact with a green screen specalist. However, as i have now finally produced my movie, i can show this along with the model see how well the model and original video footage co-operate together.
Feedback recieved from a senior lecturer at DMU, the email stated it would be more better to meet as onw to one than email due to th lengthy email response, however, the clock is ticking and i need to arrange this meeting ASAP and see whether it would be pssible to arrange it for monday.
this woudl help me as i would be in put in cntact with a green screen specialist and as i have now produced my final movie, i could show the movie along with the model to see how well it works using the model and original video footage.

I now need to end the ident by tweaking slight parts and adding music and sound effects, my ident was shown to random students to gather views and opinions, the main confusion came across as where is the 4?
so i suppose the scale needs to be changed to allow it be more recognisable.
since producing my 30 - 50 seccs ident, storyboard ideas have chnaged and not exactly gone to plan, this shows my final storyboard.

FINALLY, i recieved my first email reply regarding my research with professionals, an email feedback was recievd this morning, however, no criticism was given but suggested of entering for channel 4's yearly competition and better to use it as a live project.

first draft of miserable mill trailer produced, a story board needs to be produced and ammendments after watching the full trailer. This includes more use of my model showing its created space
i will need to include further mr lamp animation in order to show scale of the model, as present there are scenes in the trailer that are slightly bland, i will need to include parts of model to make it visually exciting.
since i am having no luck with feedback from professionals regarding my miserable mill project, yesterday and today i have emailed university lecturers with professional backgrounds for their opinions

These images who experimentation work produced in Adobe photoshope, using different filters and colour balance adjustments to create a image from the original. This experiment helped me when editing my final still images for the Miserable Mill production.

As i am continuing with on going research whilst producing my miserable mill production, i came across Fischli and Weiss, two artists ( Peter Fischli and David Weiss). Two swiss artists who have quirky cunning work to produce into short films, photogrpahy, video, installation and sculpture.
'The way things go' video captivated me as honda derived the idea from fischli and weiss, so i researched into the original idea. I came across a self destructing piece of installation. It uses
  • gravity
  • blasts of air
  • corrosive liquids
  • small explosions

The way things go is a 100 feet self destructin performance.

It has captivated me into thinking how maundaying objects can cause and effect through
art, precision and mechanism.

Working into my miserable mill production i have come across a slight alteration.
The existing idea of inserting the channel 4 ident into the 3 minute production has now been changed into a 30 second production, as editing i feel as though this may be a suitable timing. As a long ident with the extra ideas that i was going to insert may not work out well ( may drag and loose audience attention).
The editing is in good progression and am looking forward to the end result for both miserable mill production!
